I would like to know how many PSI, is being produced in each of the three pressure settings? Too little means not a good repair and too much means the windshield will crack. So I would know precisely how many PSI, Are being produced in each of the different pressure cycles. Thank you.
Hello!! The PSI for each pressure stage is around 15psi/30psi/45psi

Does the bridge have to be plugged in to use the curing light. I had mine charging for 4 hours and it wont turn on if it is unplugged
The Vanish charging block MUST be used in order to charge the unit. If you are using a standard USBC cord plugged into a standard cell phone charging block or any other for that matter, the unit will not charge. Please give us a call if you need any further assistance. GT Tools
how well does this work for "vertical" (bus/truck) windshields? Would it need an adapter to achieve high quality repairs? I have a hard time "filling" the cracks with my spectrum on these types of windshields.
Hey Jeff, I would get the Corner/Edge adapter for those vertical bus/truck windshields. This add-on will really allow you to kick that injector up at an angle to get those vertical windshields. Plus, the end-seal on the vanish is much more flexible than the spectrum, adding to your ability to do repairs at an angle. What is the vacuum of the Vanish compare to the Spectrum?
The Vanish can achieve vacuum around 24 inHg. The Spectrum is around 16 inHg.
Aftwr how many repairs or how often should you replace the seals on the repair assembly?
Hello - There isn't really a set number of times of use to replace the seals. Replacement will vary depending on frequency of use and level of cleaning that is done in between and/or after use. We recommend a good quality 91% or higher isopropyl alcohol for cleaning. The better and more frequent the cleaning, the longer the seals will last.
How much vacuum does the vanish injector create? Getting interested. Must sell my maxxim. The vanish looks a lot more portable....
Hi , Thanks for reaching out. The Vanish can achieve vacuum around 24 inHg. As a comparison, at sea level the Maxim can achieve roughly 29 inHg.

Yes the Vanish is definitely available to purchase in Canada! You can buy from our distributor PGW AutoGlass, or directly through our website. The USD to CAD exchange rate has fluctuated between 1.3 and 1.4 over the past year but at the moment you're going to pay roughly $938 CAD + shipping for the VIABRG or $1,600 CAD + Shipping for the VANISH. Will the VANISH Complete Windshield Repair Assembly perform vertical repairs on a motorhome and semi windshields?

What makes this better than my pro vac zoom
Hey , great question. The most significant improvement over the Zoom and any other tools available on the market is our DarkCure technology. Patented, Fully integrated Sub 15-second curing that is so intense that you don't need a pit square. 150-200 repairs between charges via an internal rechargable lithium ion battery pack. The vacuum capabilities are on par with the zoom (both can achieve approximately 10% less vacuum than our vacuum pump-driven automatic Maxim system) and the pressure capabilities of the Vanish exceed every manual system currently on the market. Our speedlock plunger makes it super simple to lock in pressure and vacuum stages and it features our OneTouch air release valve to equalize air in the system between Vacuum and pressure cycles. Both tools feature a tripod design self-leveling bridge, but what we've done with the Vanish is incorporate the helios quarter turn adjusting system. Insert the injector in the bridge and give it a quarter turn to seal on the glass every time. We have a 4-year warranty on any electronic components in the Vanish Bridge and all injector components have a lifetime warranty.
